My Insights:
I was shocked that there is a large array of job opportunities for ictm graduates but most of them find programmers, not people who integrate technology with management or create a rightful place for specific programs. Having the knowledge about Microsoft applications gave the most powerful edge from the data I gathered. But there are still a lot that needed you to know about programming languages. The greatest non-technical skill required is being analytic; I think the reason is in order for an ICTM professional to create useful and productive applications for programs, one must analyze the needs of a certain company in order to associate a program well with it. And the most responsibility needed is making certain projects or programs for a certain company in order to help them maximize sales and productivity as well. This was an interesting activity because it gave me an early overview of what I must become to become a marketable it professional!
